Student Researcher Spotlight: Wendy Sangucho (she/her)


Wendy Sangucho is a graduate student in the Environmental Science and Management Department at Portland State University (PSU). She received her undergraduate degree in Environmental Engineering in Ecuador with cum laude mention in 2018. Wendy is currently working as a graduate research assistant in the TIDES (Trust in Institutions during Emergency Situations) project. She is interested in the area of resilience, sustainability and community engaged research, and her dream is to build a non-profit organization aimed at supporting environmental projects with positive social impact, especially in indigenous and low-income communities.
